Established in 2017, BCPI is a non-partisan, non-profit civil society organisation focused on contributing to the achievement of Vision 2036 Pillar 4 on Governance, Peace and Security and also contribute to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 which seeks to “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”.
BCPI believes that when you know better you do better. Sharing information,educating the public about integrity,transparency & accountability is core work.
1. To continuously create awareness about negative effects of corruption and sensitize citizens on integrity risks and on working together towards curbing corruption in all spheres of society; building a culture of integrity, where corruption is unprofitable for people in government, politics, business, and civil society, collaborating with like-minded people and groups;
2. To be an effective and efficient civil society organization that does empirical research to inform advocacy and lobby work, make recommendations for alternative policy that work towards curbing corruption, integrity risks that entrench closed governance.
